Last year, my friend Nik told me about this app called “Zombies, Run!” that was looking for funding from KickStarter. After hearing the pitch, I immediately pledged to fund the game because with the right funding, it’ll be brilliant. The application is basically a running game that actually takes place in the zombie apocalypse. You run from zombies, collect supplies and more. Check out the video above for more info on how the game actually works. It’s slated for release at the end of February, which is perfect since I’ll be logging quite a few miles by then. YAY. XD
Stop What You’re Doing And Watch The Hell Out Of This of the Day: The four-and-a-half-minute trailer for Frank Darabont’s live-action adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead which was screened at Comic Con is now online for your viewing/salivating pleasure.
The 90-minute series premiere will air October 31st (natch) on AMC as part of the network’s annual horror film marathon Fearfest.

A THOUSAND TIMES, ‘YES’.
I always wondered why someone hadn’t written a zombie tv show, especially with the popularity of the genre in the last few years. Then, it happens, and it’s based off of my favorite comic. It appears as if they are doing it justice! YES.
Found this kind of sick and totally awesome stationary while browsing portfolios for NMS-505 tonight. Pretty impressed by the creativity.

Not that I think about wedding cakes all that often, but this one is awesome. I’d have to put this #2 to the Mario Kart Cake, though. That one will be hard to knock off of the #1 spot.

This is an actual paper from a team at the University of Ottowa, who have used the hypothetical situation of a zombie outbreak to examine some mathematical models for controlling the spread of infectious disease. Awesome. Check out the paper in its entirety here.
This is all kinds of awesome. ALL KINDS. Zombie team, READ UP.
